I like it though. - Emergency Grocery Supplies

Here's the thing. The food comes out nice and tastes good but I made the mistake of opening the bag to cook it and quickly found that once the bag was opened it was pretty difficult to ration from now on. For example, if I just wanted to make one batch of custard, I would be exposing a very dry custard mix to air that I could never reseal. It might be more labor intensive in terms of packaging but I think it would be much better if you could buy 2 serving size packs. Then I could just take what I wanted to eat and not think about it. One for my wife, one for me, no repackaging, no rearranging, no cutting up into smaller portions. I made a rookie mistake by making a whole bag of pudding and having to throw out some of it. It tasted like pudding and was very easy to mix. I bet the first few courses will be fine, but I won't dare try them because I don't have an efficient way to seal the leftovers for long-term storage. Please reconsider the way you pack the pieces together if you are unable to create reusable packaging. Perhaps consider my suggestion to increase the number of small packets in your kits, or at least give individuals and small families the ability to choose how many serving sizes are included in the packets. Thank you for the survival food that gives me the opportunity to retire when a major hurricane hits Southwest Florida and sweeps us off our feet.
