Universal fan remote control

I bought six of these at first (for my Hampton Bay fans I've had for about 10 years). I have now ordered two more for my external fans. My electrician just installed the first one. It was a fairly simple setup. So far this is working very well. I haven't used the timer function yet. The plastic case doesn't seem to be the strongest, but I won't mount it. Time will tell if they hold up.

Pros

Easy installation. The universal ceiling fan remote control receiver can be mounted over a chain switch or a ceiling fan wall switch. This is a better and more reliable remote with rubberized buttons that are easy to press and it comes with a holster that can be wall mounted. Before ordering, carefully check the size of the receiver to make sure there is enough space in the fan shroud.
