I recently switched from my very small sedan to a mid-size SUV. I've used suede to dry my sedan for the past few years and while I've found it to be effective when drying, it has left some streaks and water spots even after repeatedly walking over the area. I'm a car freak and I take great care of my cars. So when I just bought a new SUV I wanted to take good care of it, especially since it's navy blue. I wanted to try the new drying device for several reasons: 1.) the suede didn't work the way I wanted it to, and 2.) I wanted something more because it would take me longer to dry the SUV. Yesterday I washed my car for the first time since I've owned it (2 weeks) and it was pretty dirty. Washed and dried as usual. The towel left no streaks or water stains. After 75% of the car was dry it started to saturate and was difficult to wring out. This made the drying time much quicker than I expected for a mid-size SUV, and I only had to go over the area once or twice to get it completely dry. I took off a star because as others have mentioned it snagged on the emblems and after washing it gently it had about 5 strips which I cut off with scissors. In addition to the hook, I highly recommend this dryer tool. I plan to buy another if mine gets too wet and finish the car off with a fresh towel.
