Review on 🔴 Red Powder Coated MGP Caliper Covers 55001SRMHRD - Set of 4 by Kris Martin

I have a 2017 Ram Rebel and bought these to give the calipers a red color. The result is the same as the previous reviewer. They do not fit. Let me be clear that they fit in the caliper. The installation process was pretty easy (the instruction cards are pretty basic), but that's not the problem. The big problem is that the inside of the rim rubs. No metal-on-metal friction in the rim. After some research it turned out that the Ram OEM rim is not exactly 18 inches, but that "smaller" is a big deal, essentially the rim is too small. So if your tire doesn't spin as freely after installation as it did before the caps were installed, then the cap and rim are rubbing/wearing. This rubbing/grinding creates circular scratches on the inside of the rim and makes a horrible noise when driving on the road. If you're buying these cases, you're going to need a bigger rim, period.
