Review on TERRAMASTER D5 Thunderbolt 3: Versatile 5-Bay RAID Hard Drive Enclosure by Mike Calderon

Solid! The thing is heavy and well made and has a good grip. I get read and write speeds of just over 500MB/s in RAID-5 with 7200RPM drives, making it faster than my newly purchased SSD but with some fault tolerance. The cable that came with the unit also didn't fit me, but I wrote to TerraMaster and they immediately sent a branded replacement. Very happy. UPDATE: Turns out my block got messed up. However, they sent me a replacement fairly quickly and it works great so I still stand by it. I was really impressed with how they handled it and all drives were moved to a spare (formatted for RAID) and still worked great.
