This is the third purchase. I was going to return the last one but found out I made a mistake setting it up so I kept it for my 30 gallon tank. I have one on my 60 gallon tank and was going to use the third on my 40 gallon tank but found the heater side of the connector wasn't working but good news an alarm sounded for my low temp setting so when the heater side the timer was running, he would have alerted me to a heater fault, which in this case was not a heater fault. So things work when everything works. You have a quick replacement for faulty timers. They ship one out right away and then you have a set date to return the defective one.
