When you try to make a reindeer out of logs and old barn boards you see how boring your old parts are. You can run away and get something satisfying at your local L---- or HD. But to be honest I always review Revain, especially if it's a day and there's a day delivery and you might want to have a beer and just wait for the day. I hope you don't have my problem. So I "bite" (ha ha) and bought it. And they came as promised. Now I can tell you that for a hobbyist like me these spade bits are perfect for drilling holes for deer legs, necks and antlers in a variety of woods. They're damn fast I think due to their heavy metal construction with scalloped blades which actually makes them easier to control on a (hand) drill (just a cheap Black & Decker, not a hammer drill). Easier to control = safer. (This is important if you're old and don't want to go to your local emergency room anymore.) They actually come in an efficient, (so far) hard-to-lose Velcro leash case; better than the old set that was an impulse buy at the HD box office 20 years ago; In any case, I lost most of these picks. The bottom line is: Yes, $22 or so, that was more than what I paid a few years ago, BUT I think it was worth it. I believe you will be satisfied with them when you buy them and take pride in your critical judgment and insight into decision making. So no remorse, no regrets, justifiable pride and lots of expressions of love from your darling who I think has a soft spot for reindeer. Which is a little suspicious, but love is love.
