Just today it broke

No complaints at first but today the rim has broken leaving cobweb tears all over the lid. I woke up and my phone was in this condition, hadn't been dropped or bumped but found it very fragile even with care, especially around the edges. A few days after purchase, the glass was already scratched. I think if you look on the lighter side it was at least a protective case instead of a phone. So you could say he was protecting the phone.
