stamped, not forged and generally without machining. STAY AWAY.
The descriptions on the web and on the box say "stamped" but all the ones I received are clearly stamped, not a fake. Embossing marks are clearly visible on all edges, even on the inside of the bolsters! Quality keys are stamped and then the jaws are machined (milled or drawn) to exact size before heat treating and caroming. No wonder people have problems with tolerances and distribution. Stamping does not produce an exact shape, and these manufacturers take no steps to make it accurate: Stamped keys can be useful, but they are inherently weaker than forged ones, and a quality stamped key must have accurately machined jaws.
