I only registered with Revain to rate this product. My 11 year old daughter has noticed that her hitting has improved very quickly since we got these weighted balls. Most importantly, every night she asks me to go out and use her. If your child isn't interested in using something, this only helps. She loves them because when she catches them right on the barrel, she feels it right away. She had been taught proper swing mechanics before using them, but didn't connect the power from the floor to her toes, knee, thigh, stomach, arms, and racquet. She hit mostly grounders and had to hit singles from the infield. Yesterday she hit the liner midway and shot a flyball over LF's head. Now she's putting her whole body to good use and now she knows what we mean when we say "rock hard". These weighted balls force the batsman to hit them with force, otherwise the bat will bounce off the ball and the ball will drop dead. If the batsman touches the top of the ball, he falls dead to the ground. The contact under the ball (think pop-up) unscrews from the top of the racquet and goes nowhere. She is no longer satisfied with simple contact, she actively seeks direct contact and swings vigorously. In just two weeks, she was better at batting, which helped her turn on the lights as a forward. And you can easily use them in a small garden. I've never been so impressed with a tutorial. Highly recommended.
