Review on 🏠 14X20X1 Reusable Furnace Filter for Home Optimization by Roger King

I've long been a fan of K&N quality and consistency, but this filter is an exception. It was purchased to replace our 35,000 BTU RV in the basement with forced convection heating/AC. The fit was good, but right after installing the filter, our system started shutting down automatically, which had never happened before. We checked the system and the technician immediately diagnosed that the problem was directly related to the K&N filter due to its heavy weight. Construction and metal frame, bearing in mind that this puts stress on the system as airflow is limited due to the composition of this filter. We replaced the filter with a Honeywell Honeywell Elite Allergen Pleated MERV 13 - FPR 10 air filter and the issue was resolved immediately and we have not had any issues since. I have contacted K&N customer service several times with the above information and never received a response from them. Very disappointed as a long time customer.
