Major Structural and Security Issues

So like many others I bought an architectural mailbox and figured I could just bolt it to the 4x4 and we're good to go. Obviously not. Enter this item I ordered the next day PROS: Not scary to install, long arms help when installing the plate to the mailbox with large screws. whether they are brittle compared to other screws supplied, but they also do not have very strong shear strength. Not sure if this is related to the internal stainless steel or something else. 3/4 of these tightened with no problem (note I hand tighten, no drill needed here) but the last one popped out once it was flush. on the plate. This is unfortunate for 2 reasons. 1st - this item is now useless to me as it only swings with 1 rack bolt flange. I could staple it, weld it, or drill it all the way and add the screw myself. but that defeats the purpose of the purchase and makes a hole in my dainty new mailbox. 2nd - In my opinion this would be a huge security issue if this is the default strength for this component as almost anyone can run Joe Smo. with a manual ratchet/wrench and loosen the mechanisms holding the security mailbox to the pole. It seems unsafe. My questions to the manufacturer: Consider larger and more reliable flange bolt strength in future versions of this product. Mounts for a tablet, very similar to those for a tablet on a mailbox. - Maybe send me a replacement for QA testing? So the welder does not have to be broken. :)
