Thank goodness there are other reviews or this article would be useless to me. The Anderson end from what I received is constructed the same as in the photo, ie not compatible with the Goal Zero Anderson cable. It wasn't until I read another review that said it could be easily reconfigured that I managed to change the orientation to fit. But - lo and behold - it still didn't work until I read another review that said the 8mm end might not fit either. After that I was able to hammer this end until it connected. That's a lot of workarounds for a simple element with no moving parts.
