Just what I needed

I need one of these to charge my solar generator, love that it comes with Anderson connectors which makes signaling a lot easier. Will probably buy more in the future.

Requires modification to function

The 8mm barrel connector has not been fully inserted to make contact with the Goal Zero Yeti 400 power input. I had to modify the insulating sleeve to make contact, otherwise it works as it should.

Solar cable adapter

This adapter appears to be of good quality despite the delay in shipping. Unfortunately it wasn't what I had in mind so I had to send it back. The connector on one end, while technically correct, did not fit my portable solar panel. So the search continues.

I bought this because I needed this cable with Anderson connectors side by side as shown in the picture and instead a cable that was supplied , had arranged vertically. Useless for what I need. Waste of time as now I don't have the cables I need for my trip.

What I need for generators and portable power supplies

I am building a DC charger for my Maxoak 500WH power plant and it fits just right. First I tried one of the cheap 8mm DC power cords and the connector was loose and poor contact. This one fits exactly! Much better. Note 1: The cable is of good quality and the wire actually appears to be 16ga copper. Note 2: The 8mm DC plug has three pins: center pin, inner sleeve and outer sleeve. The positive (red) is on the inner sleeve and the negative (black) is on the outer. It works for my Maxoak and I'm…

Works as described - Generators and Portable Power Supplies

This adapter was just what I needed to connect different solar panels to my Bluetti150. A suggestion for anyone looking at this adapter is to make sure your connectors match before purchasing. Barrel plug 8 mm. As previously mentioned, Anderson Power Pole Connectors can be mounted in an orientation that is not suitable for your needs. However, they can be undone and moved to a different orientation, but this can be difficult as very little extra cable length is required. Lack of quality…

Doesn't work right out of the box, you can *may* reconfigure it yourself for easier use

Thank goodness there are other reviews or this article would be useless to me. The Anderson end from what I received is constructed the same as in the photo, ie not compatible with the Goal Zero Anderson cable. It wasn't until I read another review that said it could be easily reconfigured that I managed to change the orientation to fit. But - lo and behold - it still didn't work until I read another review that said the 8mm end might not fit either. After that I was able to hammer this end…
