Don't waste your money on an overpriced brand name filter if you have one of these. I replaced the stock airbox on my '98 Crown Victoria (4.6L V8) with one of these. The thing is big, very beautiful and high quality. I thought the torque would drop, but it actually went up quite a bit along with the power. Nothing exciting but enough to notice, along with a very pleasant growl (huge difference). I'm sure this will be VERY good for the new intake manifold (which I plan to install later) and computer tuning. Other Crown Vic enthusiasts have advised me to disconnect the battery when installing it and reconnect it before starting the engine to allow the computer to "relearn" to work with the new filter, but I have not done so. Maybe I could get more PS/Zq if I did that, but I can always do it later. Anyhow, I am very happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone looking for a cheaper alternative to installing CAI!
