These straps are perfect for attaching my scooter to the hitch. Very durable and easy to attach and detach. You can easily tighten them enough to bend the frame on the mount, but you can also squeeze them hard enough to easily hold the scooter without damage. The strap is way longer than I need, but it tucks well under the rest of the strap so I don't cut the end. I highly recommend these belts for this purpose. I had an extra few inches of ratchet straps, but they seemed flimsy to me, and although they never came loose, I worried about them. Also, the nylon strap was very smooth and felt like sandpaper on the surface where they touched the roller. I don't think about that at all. The material of the strap is soft so it won't scratch what you tightened it with. Just make sure you let enough of it through the slot in the ratchet first to get a few good turns of the ratchet to hold the straps. I suspect if you don't it might be slippery enough not to want to hold on properly. Durability seems satisfactory so far, but I haven't had any straps going over or touching sharp edges, just the scooter's seat or deck. which is rounded. I don't know how they would withstand a lot of vibration and sharp corners. But it cuts through even super-heavy commercial belts. Highly recommended.
