Not suitable for stainless steel
I bought this item to drill holes in my home brewing kettle. It took about 2 hours and lots of cutting fluid to drill 2.1/2 inch diameter holes! After I finally got the holes done this bit was completely worn out. It barely cut to the end of the second hole. other metals, but is not intended for stainless steel.
