Great camera at a great price

First: I originally reviewed this camera and deducted a star for an issue where I noticed the power cord was not angled properly when plugged in (see uploaded.) After the Looking at pictures from other users, I realized that I had just used the wrong power point to connect the camera. I'm not sure why there are 2 different points to connect the camera. One connector on the camera itself (that's what I used) and one higher up on the camera body itself. I've edited the review to remove my comments on the oversight of the power cord design. It was my fault. That being said, this camera is now easily a 5 star product. Please note that the photos I uploaded from the windshield mounted camera do not have the power cord properly connected. I'm leaving them up to show how the camera looks installed and also to show how I installed the power cord to the left of the camera incorrectly. Compare this to the pictures of other users who installed it correctly on top of the mount itself. Design and usability: Large touch screen that allows very easy operation and switching between menus and settings. Very simple and clear operation. The screen can display both cameras at the same time, either one or the other. By simply tapping the screen, you can switch the camera displayed on the screen. The only flaw I can really think of is that there is no way to choose what information to show in the final video. My latest camera gave me the option to choose whether to show speed, GPS location, time, etc. on the output video. This camera just shows it without choice, despite being very thin and not distracting from the video. Also, there is no way to change the units from kilometers per hour to miles per hour. Again, no big deal. Finally, some of the wording and menu instructions suffer from a fairly obvious translation from Chinese to English. Here and there there are oddly worded tooltips or menu items. But that's more of a joke than anything. Front camera: excellent quality. super wide angle. I'm not sure I fully believe the 4K claim, but it's more than enough for a DVR. I am more than satisfied with the image quality of the front camera. Reversing Camera: High definition reversing camera. Also. Very direct and wide viewing angle. Features: dual camera, 256 GB SD card function, Wi-Fi and smartphone app. Application. saves a life and makes this camera worth the money. You can connect via Wi-Fi and view videos and images instantly and download them straight to your phone or device. You can also receive live streaming straight to your phone and even control the camera directly from your phone screen when connected to the camera. setup and installation. The cameras themselves attach easily to windows, and the power cords are fairly easy to route around. How easy it is to route the power cords and hide them properly depends on your specific vehicle. But the nice thing is that they include a tool for removing the plastic trim. The directions definitely leave a lot to be desired. As well as some formulations and tips during work. The destinations definitely suffer somewhat from the apparent Chinese to English translation. They're easy enough to figure out with a bit of head scratching, but they could be better. It's a DVR, it's not rocket science, so it's not the end of the world. My requirements for the DVR were as follows: it should have a dual camera, it should have an app that allows you to instantly upload data straight to your smartphone, it should hold an SD card up to 256 GB, and it should be 4K too. It ticks all the boxes and I would buy it again. I report continuous use.
