I always choose outlet covers that slide in easily so kids can't put their fingers in. My 3rd child, 11 months old, quickly realized that he can't play around with these sockets, but has opted for sockets that he can easily pry completely out of the wall with a plug. Most of my outlets like this one are blocked but because of Christmas we had to rearrange an outlet that is in use and I had to slide the couch down the wall to block it making access difficult so I checked that out . . Attachment was easy, unfortunately due to the way my outlet is set up I couldn't screw it in at the top and bottom, but the center screw was perfect and holds it securely in place. The lid is awkward to open without removing the whole thing. But I suppose that means my kids are more likely to get in trouble if I get in trouble, so it's better than having my couch where I don't want it and having a hard time swapping what I am supposed to use and also It separates the cords at the bottom to keep them from getting tangled. And plus the price for it and get 2! I will definitely buy more.
