Review on 🌰 Anwenk Nutcracker: Heavy Duty Pecan/Walnut Cracker Tool with Wood Base & Handle by Bella Rodriguez

I like the design of the device, but with black walnuts it definitely cannot withstand the load. Basically if it can bend and break. I've modified to overcome the limitations, but as I change each part, the stress only ever takes the next weakest part. Started with the handle changed to a 4" 3/16" grease covered with an 18" long galvanized pipe. Also I installed on a much larger piece of plywood base. This provided a lot of torque resulting in this "Replaced riveted joints with machine screws. Enough force is now being generated to start bending the metal base. I like the central screw arrangement and keep trying to fix it.
