Review on Indoor Electronic Cat Toys With Mouse Tail And Catnip Ball, Battery-Powered Automated Interactive Toys For Exercising And Hunting, With Auto Shut Off - Perfect For Kitty Entertainment! by Billy Mariner

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Sadly, My Cat Doesn't Like The Toy.

Overall, the product is just as described. It's made with a hard plastic shell and included brand-new (off-brand) batteries, a phillips head screwdriver, a catnip ball, and a fuzzy "tail" that turns wildly within the unit.Everything went well.at first. I turned on the toy and my curious cat happily played with the tail—poking her paw into the holes in an attempt to catch the fluffy appendage. When her claw got stuck on the tail and she couldn't quickly release herself from it, she dragged it around until she was free.and hasn't bothered with playing with it since. OH! And it's LOUDER than I expected as well.See the attached video of her "horrific experience" with what I thought would bring my furbaby endless joy. My rating is a midpoint because she DID play with it AND because the concept is ideal for kittens (perhaps). My furbaby is almost five years old and would rather drag around and play with her string.

Pros
  • Excellent for shy or fearful cats to build confidence.
Cons
  • May not be engaging enough to deter destructive behavior in cats
