After using a $20 coffee maker for the past 20 years, we decided to upgrade our home coffee maker. This particular dual brewing model seemed like a good choice. When we received it, we followed all the setup and registration instructions as suggested in the product documentation. The 12 cup side worked fine but the single serve side was completely non-functional. Just before the single serving was officially used, we noticed water leaking from the tank onto our counter. Then, when we first used it, all we got was a healthy cup of coffee. The next cup brewed landed on our counter along with the coffee grounds. Cuisinart offered no support when asked. Spend that amount of money on anything and it should work perfectly right out of the box as advertised. We'll send this back for a refund and go back to our trusty $20 coffee maker. I doubt we'll consider another Cuisinart product.
