Pretty good, best home audio

I got the PCA3 working for my 1984 Panasonic SB-403 Turbo Thrusters 30 watt motors. I used to hook them up to a Pioneer 100 watt per channel receiver that I bought new in the late 1990's. The turbo engines were sort of a downgrade from the Technics 100 watt speakers I originally used (Mutt system I bought at the Circuit City showroom, floor/display/open box). not exactly a downgrade, just a move to some smaller floorstanding speakers. The recipient squeezed them nicely. When Pioneer died I got a Lepai 2020A+ and the Psakers sounded great on it. Lepai died five years later and I got a Lepai Lepi clone. Lvpin was no match for sculpting. Penetrating and full of distortion and too much bass even with its adjustment. Finally, to continue my lengthy review, I decided it was time to try something different for my entertainment device. All I have to do is plug these two 30-watt speakers into my desktop computer's output. It's not just my computer. These are movies that play on the computer, plus a player, cassette deck, and VCR that basically plug into the computer as computer peripherals, so I can easily convert whatever I want to digital. I thought I would get a basic PCA3 model but this one has an FM receiver and SD card and USB inputs. I really wasn't very happy with the extra stuff that broke and collected dust like the SD card and USB ports that I already have on my computer. But what is is. SOUND is comparable to Lepai, which was said to have 20 watts per channel. According to the manual, this PCA3 draws about 15 watts, so not that much. I've still never understood what speaker performance gibberish is, and this one was no exception. I bought it at first thinking I was going to get a little more power then I read about ohms and it cut it in half because my speakers are 8 ohms and I wish I had gone for 2x120 (for 60w). force?) even before I received it. Now that everything is set up I'd say it sounds pretty decent in a small room. Decent enough that I see no reason to return it for "misadvertising" (which those performance claims really are. REALLY!). No lvpin crap distortion and it gets pretty loud before I notice any distortion. I'm really happy with the sound. I decided to just cover the power LED. Yes, the LEDs are too bright, but when I'm watching old series online or vloggers/podcasts on Youtube, the meters rarely light up. I've never had a "theatrical experience" with movies. Just a clear sound, not too loud and bass-heavy, so the films seem pretty good to me. without much activity of the indicator lights. When I put some music on they come alive and I love it. I think they look great with music. Just a problem with these indicators. The left side is slightly less sensitive than the right. The speakers sound balanced to my ears, but even when playing a mono recording (1960s 45rpm recordings converted to digital and true mono), the right meter jumps a step above the left. This even works with the FM radio function. Just a little annoyance. It annoys me, but I'll survive. Speaking of FM radio, it sounds harsh and weak. I will probably never use it again after testing it. I tried the USB input with a memory card full of MP3s. I couldn't get it to work. I haven't tried the SD card input because I don't think it can play back images, which is all I have on SD cards. I don't use bluetooth so the antenna was left folded and hidden. I'd like to remove the antenna entirely, but it appears to be permanently attached. At the end of this long paragraph: PCA3 sounds good. I wouldn't pair it with speakers over 30W or so. One star overall for uneven gauges and all the extras I didn't want or order. I like it quite well.
