Great amp for home theater

My Echo Dot was playing through an old bookshelf stereo and wired speakers that were wall mounted and freestanding. Power outages blew the stereo, but I still wanted to use the speakers. This is my first time using something like this amp. It was easy to connect the speakers and they connected to my Echo via Bluetooth right away. I am very happy with the sound. I only have two complaints. A cable is located on the side of the sorter. I live in an old small house and outlets are limited so I use

Works best in receivers and amplifiers as expected

Installation was very easy. I just plugged in external speakers on the back and that was it. FM radio reception worked well even without the antenna connected. In the box was what appeared to be an FM antenna, but I don't see an option to connect it to the device. Bluetooth connection was also easy and playback from my phone to external speakers worked very well. To my surprise, the unit came with a small remote control that allows you to select the FM channel and input, as well as adjust theโ€ฆ

Ignore 150 WPC it's really 15 WPC but that's ok!

Let's do without the 150 WPC nonsense for now. I thought the FTC would have quashed that hype in the 1970's when I first got involved with audio. The amp outputs a realistic 15 WPC with reasonable distortion. But for small bookshelf speakers, that's more than enough. I currently have it hooked up to a pair of Polk Audio TSi200s and it could kick me out of the office! Hooking it up is easy: there's a pair of RCA input jacks, plus left and right clamp speaker jacks. There are controls for powerโ€ฆ

BIG DISCOVERY FOR ME!

WOW! I'm something of an audiophile and this was way more valuable to me than I expected. Mainly because I was just looking for a cheap amplifier for my patio speakers, because my sound source was a laptop with DJ software etc. I needed an amplifier. That's a great amp! He also has a very good remote control. BUT here's the thing! It ALSO accepts the USB I loaded with the songs. It also accepts SD cards! (which I've loaded with even more tunes!). THAT has Bluetooth! I wirelessly connect myโ€ฆ

Not bad for the price

I honestly didn't know what to expect from a miniaturized class D amp. To be honest I've never had this type of amp but I wasn't disappointed.. .well I take my words back because the first one was DOA. It smoked right out of the box so I had to send it back. Ouch! HOWEVER it had features I REALLY wanted for a stereo project and Pyle was good at supporting it so I asked for a replacement. The law of averages won, and the sequel is fine. It may sound strange, but you can tell by the weight thatโ€ฆ

"2X75w " is misleading

Remember "75 watts per channel" is peak power only. Specification that may be correct but useless. I believe this is an old misleading advertisement for audio amplifiers that is banned. Actual power is only listed at 4 ohms: 15 watts per channel (rms I guess) with 1% THD (distortion). At 8 ohms you get significantly less output power. Again, just into 4 ohms you can boost the output power to 23 watts per channel if you can handle 10% distortion. It's still reasonable though. For 8 ohm speakers,

Pretty good, best home audio

I got the PCA3 working for my 1984 Panasonic SB-403 Turbo Thrusters 30 watt motors. I used to hook them up to a Pioneer 100 watt per channel receiver that I bought new in the late 1990's. The turbo engines were sort of a downgrade from the Technics 100 watt speakers I originally used (Mutt system I bought at the Circuit City showroom, floor/display/open box). not exactly a downgrade, just a move to some smaller floorstanding speakers. The recipient squeezed them nicely. When Pioneer died I gotโ€ฆ
