I added this product to my shower routine after loving some of Aesop's other products after switching from the Clinique Exfoliating Facial Scrub. It seems a bit more sand like than I would like, but the main downside is the smell. I hesitate to use it because the smell is so repulsive. It's... no exaggeration, it's like peppermint gum out of a smoker's mouth or sour dung. I was shocked. The price makes me tempted to empty the bottle but end up holding my breath as it hits my face. I don't think I can - it's gross. One of the downsides of buying beauty products while wearing a mask during COVID. I would not recommend this product to a friend, although I usually only have good things to say about Aesop. TLDR: It smells absolutely awful
