Lamps are not bright at all

I bought these for my kitchen island. When they arrived I opened the package and 1 bulb was gone. I went ahead and replaced the bulb and the light wasn't bright at all. In fact, it was dimmer than the old bulb. The description says Ultra Bright but they are not bright at all. The price is good for so many bulbs but I will not buy them again.

Pros

ENERGY EFFICIENCY: Halogen Reduces running costs by more than 30%, lasts longer than a standard incandescent lamp.
