This is the 3rd time I've bought this for my Senegal mate. Swinging and chewing are two of her favorite pastimes, so what could be better than a chewing swing? She swings and chews, and after she no longer feels comfortable standing and swinging, she simply moves to another nearby perch to finish chewing. It amuses her when I'm gone and she can't leave her cage. My only caveat is that it will be easy for the parrot to "tie" itself to the ropes after most of the balsa is gone. Buddy never had this problem, but I think it might be possible. I always change it when the side panels are completely gone.
