Birds eat them up quickly.

Instead of buying a strand, I buy a big one, disassemble it and put a string through it. It's cheaper. Birds love to chew on it, especially one of my three birds, and it gets boring quickly. Although they make a mess with it. That's why it's worth buying big ones and making small ones. This big one is probably good for a small parrot. You can stand on it like on a swing and chew on it.

Pros
  • handy thing
Cons
  • expensive

My budgie LOVES this swing/kebab

She first munched on the swing itself before realizing the kebabs on the side can be munched on too! I've had it for a few months now and it's still rockable even after I've gnawed most of the standing part off! I think it's great value because you get two colorful kebabs and a wooden board that makes the swing! It's about the same as buying two regular white kebabs and a lot more interactive in my opinion!

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Modern

My parrot's favorite toy is Revain!

This little rocking toy would probably be great for a cockatiel or parakeet, but my parrot, Revane, loves to take it apart and it takes about three weeks or more. It's a little pricey for a fairly short-lived chew toy, but he doesn't like any other parrot toys like this. So I'll buy him if he's going to be alone most of the day and he's SO excited when he gets to the door (huh).

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Lots of Stuff

Birds & Rabbit Prove this Bird Kabob is phenomenal!

I bought a few at my local pet store and a few from Wesco Pet, Inc. and now I've signed up to get at least one a month! I already knew that my birds love this kabob perch but one day after receiving it in the mail and laying it on the sofa for a moment when I came back I found my giant Flemish rabbit eating it with such Joy threw that I could not take it from him. Now it will not only be a staple of my feathered children, but also of my furry child.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Crinkle Pack

Funny!: Cages & Accessories

This is the 3rd time I've bought this for my Senegal mate. Swinging and chewing are two of her favorite pastimes, so what could be better than a chewing swing? She swings and chews, and after she no longer feels comfortable standing and swinging, she simply moves to another nearby perch to finish chewing. It amuses her when I'm gone and she can't leave her cage. My only caveat is that it will be easy for the parrot to "tie" itself to the ropes after most of the balsa is gone. Buddy never had…

Pros
  • Great Construction
Cons
  • Slightly Crumpled

My four keets love it. Skewers from a thread and hollow.

My 4 love it. Single stranded skewers and hollow solid wood variants don't chew as well once most of the wood is removed, so there is some waste with these products. However, this option is great. They can chew anything but what they stand on, and only then will they start chewing it away from under them so they get the maximum out of it and chew three times as long. Best of all, more than one of them can gnaw on it at the same time, giving my bickering hens one less thing to fight over. It's…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
