I bought it when you had to buy a separate app for faster Internet access because the mainboard didn't have one. I still remember when I first moved into the wild wilderness of technology in 2001 at the ripe old age of 19 and decided I needed to up my internet game. I called and ordered broadband and they said I need to order a network card first if I don't already have one. I DID NOT DO IT! The internet worked on my computer from day one and kept working and working. I don't even know where that map is now. Where has this computer gone? I've built so many Frankenstein computers, this one's probably in a box somewhere. I'm sure it would still work if I plugged it in, but I don't know. WHO'S EVEN ON THE MARKET?! Who are you sitting at home with your computers before 2000? I guess if you have to buy it for some reason there's no harm, but to be honest you might just want to consider upgrading your computer.
