A big improvement over pull studs and well worth the extra cost. Used to install the bridge deck (pressure treated), installation was easy using standard screwdrivers and impact wrenches (both corded and cordless). Several Torx screwdrivers came with the number of screws I bought and I expected to have to replace them if I removed one due to carelessness. I used only one driver for 225 screws. Although I was prepared for this, the coating on the screws allowed the heads to be set and aligned effectively flush or below the surface, eliminating the need for pre-drilling or countersinking. Of the 225 screws, two were unusable due to excess material (not sure if it was metal or plating). Time will tell if the bolts will hold up to the pressure-treated timber better than the hot-dip galvanized bolts used elsewhere on the bridge. I expect them to do better but I'm 66 and maybe my grandkids will find out. A contractor friend of mine recommended these lag bolts and I sincerely appreciate the advice.
