Review on πŸ”Œ Makita XAG11Z Brushless Cordless Lithium Ion Grinder by James Pope

Advanced design and security.

What a technological advance and much needed security! Disk protection is not enough. I removed the old Makita plugin after it attacked me. The tool broke while cutting a sheet metal beam. In a split second, and without warning, the tool violently threw my workpiece, spinning and bouncing like a spinning top, and then as it hit the ground it swallowed the power cord and eventually shut itself off. Then the pain literally hit the feeling like a sledgehammer. I looked down at my left hand in horror and saw parts dangling. That's right STRING! It wasn't until I got to the hospital that I realized my leg hurt and my jeans were torn at the hip. So not only did he tear 2 tendons, cut and fracture the bone and shattered the cartilage, but he also peeled my leg. Top hand surgeon saved my fingers and a year later they got 99% back. Consider me lucky. As for this new meat grinder, I would let my kids use it under supervision, so I'm confident in its safety and controllability. The momentary switch triggers immediately when released and the motor automatically stops after one second. The chipset controls the rotation speed before, during and after cutting or grinding. Just remember to remove the battery when changing drives. Stay healthy folks.
