I should have opened it right away last November. I just did tonight the initial 15 minute test run as recommended. The steam just coming out of the float valve and won't seal up the cooker. Waited 45 minutes then I got the message E1. Cancelled the operation, checked the cord, tried again for 30 minutes, still not working. Will call the Service center for repair. Update 04/27/20: Float valve was put in wrong direction. I now love this product. Occasional steam comes out but minimizes smell of cooking around the apartment.
