The previous model of the Conair 1875 hair dryer was discontinued and this model was used for many years and was replaced by the same model. Two switches (one for heating level and the other for fan/fan level) don't interest me. They have lugs that help my thumb slide over the switch but I don't find that helps me. The former toggle switch is better for me. At the minimal cost I will suffer until it breaks and then look for a different make or model.
