square. Although I was mistakenly sent a round which I had to replace. Complete as advertised, separate mounting plate for wall mounting. then two screws to fix the lamp to the base. They work, 12V. I would have liked the color to be a little "warmer" as they are a bit bright white. But that's my personal preference for almost any LED. However, this is a standard socket, so I think I can just buy another lamp. Also, it's good that it comes with a bulb, some bulbs don't! and the included bulb is fine, I haven't bothered to buy a "warmer" one yet. Please note that I have not yet moved the camper. This will be a test to see if they stay tied to their base. The two screws don't seem particularly strong.
