This is our second set of solar lights, the first set lasted 5 years. We started using them outside of our trailer when we were out and then used them to line our walkway to the front door. This is our current application. I didn't rate durability as this set is very new considering the last set was five years old and we used it in the hot southwest desert and expect similar results. They are very affordable. At the beginning of the night the lights are quite bright and go out as the sun rises. At this time of year, with shorter days and less sunlight, the brightness doesn't last as long as it does in the summer months when the battery has more charge. Remember that you must ensure that the solar part of the lights is exposed to the sun. If you install this in a mostly shaded area you may be disappointed.
