I use a lighter travel tripod for real estate photography and needed a ball head that could hold a Canon 5D4 and 70-200mm lens. This head can. Overall I like it, it has multiple customization options making it easy to set up and best of all it's Arca-Swiss compatible to fit all my QR plates. My only criticism is that tightening the ball head into a tight position sometimes takes a bit of muscle power and goes from slip to hard very quickly. I like to loosen the plastic up a bit to sometimes make a little adjustment (straightening the walls etc) so I would have preferred a slightly smoother response from slightly firm to firm. But for the price, it's sturdy and durable. It won't be the RRS head it's obviously modeled after, but dollar versus performance, that's the valuation.
