We use cloth diapers and it's safe for cloth diapers. To prevent nappy rash, we apply this to my little one's buttocks almost every nappy change. For the most part I think it works, but from time to time we have to switch to disposables so we can use Desitin. I prefer unscented sticks because they're a bit firmer than flavored sticks. However, flavored ones are easier to apply, as they soften faster on contact with a warm cough. Like a tube of lip balm or a stick of glue, the inside sometimes falls out as you near the end. I removed the star because it got stuck in the lid once and I still wanted to use the rest. For maintenance, I wipe off a layer of oil from time to time. The best part is that my fingers don't get sticky when applying this product like oil balms or Desitin. I definitely recommend this product.
