Review on πŸ–ŒοΈ Cuttlelola Dotspen: The Ultimate Electric Drawing Pen for Illustration, Stippling, and Manga Art by Wendy Rodriguez

Revainrating 1 out of 5

It broke on the first attempt to change the ink.

When it worked, it was phenomenal. I love grit but I have arthritis in my hands so this was great. The ink lasts a long time if you only do small drawings. I wanted to change the cartridge for the first time and it broke. The magnet and spring came out of the barrel with the old cartridge. When I tried to put it back in with a new cartridge as shown in the picture in the instructions it didn't work. So I got it out again. On the second pull, the spring got stuck in the shaft and deformed. Now I can't get it to work at all. I love this tool but hate that it broke on the first try to change the ink. I won't spend another $65 to replace it if it broke so easily the first time.

Pros
  • Caution: Do not open the top cover of the Dotspen, otherwise it will be destroyed.
Cons
  • Out of fashion
