Use medical tape and a dremel to cut.

Overall I am very satisfied with the product. I used it on my 1964 Chevy ll Nova for the underhood heater hoses. Wise advice: use white medical tape when cutting. This will help keep the ends from unraveling after the haircut. I've found that a Dremel with a cut-off wheel works best for cutting.
