My cat loves chasing the red dot and the mouse. The device also has a picture of a butterfly and a happy face, which would be better if there was a picture of a bird and possibly a squirrel. I like that it's rechargeable (no need to buy batteries). I didn't try the battery life because I haven't had it long enough and I usually charge it a few times a week. The price was great and was received very quickly by the seller. Another thing to note about the device is that the on/off switch is a slide switch, so it's in the on position all the time. This can be a little dangerous if the laser beam gets in your pet's eyes, and trying to quickly turn it off is a bit clumsy. With a push button switch, just lift your finger and it's off. Just note that it takes longer to turn off than a push button switch. I still love it and recommend this product.
