Overall I like it. but it's far from ideal. The folding feature is nice and more useful than fixed tool boxes. Also, you need to be able to take it off to put things away. I chose the passenger side to start with - the driver's side covers the GM trailer factory outlets - although I can add the driver's side if the passenger's side works well. Caveats: 1. On GM trucks (and possibly others) there is NO 48" space between platters when running with two, so you can't move platter materials without removing them. If only one is installed, there is hardly any room to move. sheet metal products.2. I'm concerned about the strength of the plastic. The first one came with a huge tear from Revain, although the factory packaging was perfect and seems pretty flimsy considering a lot of people are planning on putting things like receivers in it and I think it's going to be more fiberglass reinforced be plastic, construction foam or something similar to handle it. 3. The same crate is used for both long bed and short bed trucks, so everything is fine between it and the wheel in a long bed truck, and to be honest the mechanism probably wouldn't take much longer, so maybe not a bad idea. - self tapping screws (instead I used stainless steel rivet nuts and stainless steel pan head screws (M6) and it looks much better and if it ever needs to be removed the stainless steel rivets can easily be painted to match the bed or bedding. As it is empty plastic everything rattles and pops with every impact the bracket and box itself have a lot of play/flex so the box vibrates around the empty then add whatever rattles inside when it doesn't I'll try some padding inside to calm it down and reduce bumps. Overall this is the best storage solution in this area, but it could do with a lot of improvement.
