Review on πŸ” Magnetize-It! Magnetic Paint & Primer (Water Based) Review: Standard Yield 32oz, MISTD-1530 by Marc Oner

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The price is too high and it takes a lot to get a strong magnetic coating. I recommend the mid-range variant.

I originally bought the cheapest option from this seller, it used up a full pint to cover my 42 square feet. Feet with at least 3 coats required. This still did not provide a strong magnetic coating. The instructions say a maximum of 6 so I went to buy more. This time I bought a mid-range premium option. It was the difference between day and night only in the quality of the color. The lower quality stuck together and created a lot of bumps on the wall and didn't have a smooth finish. If you're going to be spending that much anyway, go for the mid-range option. This will make your life easier. After max 6 coats I still don't like strong magnetism. It feels like the magnet will fall off easily. Others recommend strong magnets but my neodymium still feels like they will fall off on their own. It works, but it could be better.
