Be sure to read correctly! It doesn't make things magnetic. This is a metallic coating that magnetic things stick to. I wanted to make things magnetic so they stick to things ☹️.

Only very strong magnets hold on. None of my magnets were strong enough to hold a piece of paper. The surface is really rough. The paint is very thick and I used a quality brush. I think a scooter could give a slightly better result, but I doubt it. The end result is a thick, rough surface, which is enough. I don't know how to hide it behind color. It would probably be better (and cheaper) to take a magnetic sheet and tape it on.

Good for those of you buying this, be aware - it works but you need patience. Depending on the weight of the object you want to glue, several layers will be needed. Buy strong magnets first. I read somewhere that you can get rare earth magnets. Do that. Ordinary magnets are not strong enough. (All the little gray dots in the picture are magnets) As you can see in my picture I decided to make a pattern. If you choose to do this, use masking tape and let it dry completely. I did 7 layers.
