The alarm was very easy to install
The alarm was very easy to install. The cord was more than enough to reach the outlet. The alarm is very loud and will get your attention. It has an alarm switch so it can be turned off while a person figures out the cause. The backup battery is a very useful feature as a power failure can be one of the causes of high water levels in the sewage pump. I didn't notice any odor as other reviews have reported. I highly recommend this product.
