💧 WaterGuard: High or Low Water Alarm - Ultimate Protection for Your Water Levels Review

Simple and easy installation. I had to have it to pass the inspection of the new home bathroom in the basement. It took 10 minutes to install and was much cheaper than others. Exam passed with no problems. Highly recommended.

Very easy to install. Simple concept with good instructions. Heavy duty waterproof cords and can be configured as a high or low water alarm - it is set for high water. Very loud alarm which we could hear through two closed doors upstairs.

Perfect alarm. Connect, but with backup battery. The float switch is old but reliable. I had a recent alarm on my sump pump with a moisture sensor that failed this spring and ended up costing me 5 grand for new carpet. With this alarm I don't worry if we have heavy downpours.

I purchased this product and the alarm went off about a month after installation. Checked, the sewer level is normal. Drop the block and he's still alarmed. So I just left it disabled and didn't use it. About a year later I decided to plug it in and try again. When I plugged it in, the alarm went off again for no reason and didn't stop until you unplugged it or plugged it back in. A piece of junk. Wouldn't buy.

A simple float is great. Signaling is a problem. The insides are not sealed. When I put the 9 volt battery in, one of the wires inside moved and broke. The float can be easily separated by unscrewing the cable connectors. The power adapter is a bit trickier when it needs to be unplugged. So far this is a good product. Not as loud as I would like.

The alarm was very easy to install. The cord was more than enough to reach the outlet. The alarm is very loud and will get your attention. It has an alarm switch so it can be turned off while a person figures out the cause. The backup battery is a very useful feature as a power failure can be one of the causes of high water levels in the sewage pump. I didn't notice any odor as other reviews have reported. I highly recommend this product.

Having a drain pump is important to ensure it works when you start getting excess water into your basement. We learned the hard way what happens when a pump fails. At that time we decided that we would not play anymore. They replaced the pump and also bought this alarm. We set it just above the normal waterline for our sump pump and when the water rises above that point it sets off a HIGH alarm which you definitely won't miss.
