I bought one of these for a trip to Europe. We used it in Greece and Ireland with no problems (2 different plug types). I really liked the fact that I could connect a cell phone cable to it, so I didn't have to carry a cell phone plug with me. My husband also took this to the Republic of Georgia. He had no problems there either. We now have guests from Russia who brought a hair dryer but without an adapter. We were able to plug it into a standard US outlet so they could use their hair dryer (although I offered them my own). I've ordered another one to give to them when they go on the next leg of their vacation.
