Had to buy last minute supplies for a trip from New York to Europe. Ordered, arrived on time (quite quickly). This product is easy to use and also has a USB port to make charging things like a smartphone easier. It even came with basic instructions. Even without a guide, I was able to figure out which slots to use. I like that it is compact and has different connector types.

I originally gave this 1 star rating because I thought I needed the corner pins for Thailand, although I ended up not needing them as all the places we have stayed have the pins for the US had and now I read them that the angle adapter is never needed in Thailand. I couldn't get it to work in UAE either because I didn't realize I had to manually retract the third pin in addition to using the grip, I must have been tired. So I had no reason to be dissatisfied with this product, it does the job.

Works almost perfectly - it's great to be able to connect two USB ports via the plug. Too bad you can only customize for US, Europe and UK. Does NOT work universally for all countries. Can't bear the weight of the MacBook charger itself if you use a 2-pin cable (if you use a 3-pin charger extension cable, everything is fine). I hate extra cables when I travel, but I regret not having brought an Apple 3-pin laptop cable as I had to use objects to fit the charger into the adapter.

Good universal adapter. I've only tried US plugs in European outlets, but they worked as expected except for one. In Denmark, almost all the sockets I saw were built a bit into the wall, and this adapter didn't stay in the duct, often fell out. In the picture you can see the setup I set up to charge without the adapter falling out and what the internal jacks looked like. Maybe it would be good if the adapter had a lower part, but for a European it only has two upper ones.

I kept it with me throughout the trip so I could return it if the company accepted it as I had ordered it well in advance of the trip. They were thin round needles. They are the least stable, so if you use them on a different adapter, they may be more durable. I really liked the fact that I could connect a cell phone cable to it, so I didn't have to carry a cell phone plug with me. My husband also took this to the Republic of Georgia. This is very good but you will probably need a different adapter. For what it is I would give this adapter 5 stars. When traveling in Iceland I was able to easily connect my iPad, iPhone, computer, digital camera and spare battery to the adapter. Bought to travel around Europe. It works fine when I could use it. The problem, however, is that in the UK and the Netherlands their sockets have a round and recessed socket that is slightly larger than the socket itself. This big box didn't fit in this outlet so it was pretty much useless for most of my trip.
