If you don't want iron (steel flakes) in your diet, RUN, these "skewers" are just BAD. This is not what I expect from a food product and I don't feel comfortable using it for such purposes. The metal holes of the skewers still had pieces of metal that had not been reamed, and the edges were deburred and filed unevenly. I only wish I had seen them up close when I first got them so I could go back and invest in nicer things. Installation. The pan looks decent and the ability to catch drips is a nice touch compared to other models available, but the skewer holder would be PITA royalty to clean, so I didn't use that either. EDIT: After posting this, they contacted me within a few days and offered a refund.
