This review is for APDTY 035812 Ignition Switch with Frame (for Lock Cylinder) (Replaces GM 22670487 / ACDelco D1432D) I can confirm without a doubt that this switch solved the strange electrical problems we were encountering were. with our 2000 Malibu LS. When the problem arose, either at startup or a few minutes after driving, the windows, air conditioning and fuel gauge would freeze. The check engine and/or service engine light will come on shortly. This device also solved the easy theft/jamming problem that eventually led to these more common electrical symptoms. I replaced the lock cylinder first, which was necessary anyway, but found the problem returned after a few days. This thing fixed it forever.
