Review on 💡 AIMS Power PIC100012120S Pure Sine Inverter with 1000W Continuous Output and 2000W Surge, Battery Charger and Transfer Switch Included by Paul Rosemark

I don't like leaving bad reviews and prefer to work with manufacturers and sellers. But if they don't take responsibility for the questions, potential clients need to know. My first impression of this product was very good. The specifications exceeded all my expectations. However, after considerable effort installing the battery and connecting the device to the circuit it was intended for, it failed to meet specifications. Firstly, I am an Electrical Engineer qualified to evaluate and install this product. I design various electronic devices for life. I bought this to provide backup power for my cooker and kettle (no tank) in the event of a power outage. Living in the mountains we can have some outages of several hours a year. The load has been estimated at 800 - 900 watts im Average calculated Worst case. I did a test by turning off the switch. After a few minutes after t the switch worked, with a load of less than 800 W the device failed. I've repeated the test several times, measured different voltages and currents and can't find any legitimate reason for the error. I emailed Aims Technical Support twice, describing the closely observed behavior and the test conditions and measurements. . They didn't even give me the courtesy to reply to confirm my emails. I enjoy working with them to resolve this issue and hate disconnecting and removing the device. But the bottom line is it's not up to spec and I'll probably have to remove it and return it. I cannot recommend the company to anyone who cannot even confirm an e-mail after two or three weeks. No matter how good their products are, if they don't support their customers, I don't care.
